GVSU Alumni Owned Business Spotlights

Social media video series spotlighting Laker-owned businesses to promote our Bar & Restaurant Guide. I conceptualized the project, coordinated with the business owners, directed the videos, helped set-up key shots, and oversaw the final edit.

Louie the Laker Intern

Remember the This is SportsCenter commercials? I tipped my hat to them with this fun social media series. I worked with a few teammates to create this series starring GVSU’s mascot, Louie, as our “summer intern." The goal: try something new, grow our audience, and add some humor to the feed. (Louie in an office setting cracks me up every time!) I wrote the scripts, directed the shoots, and edited the episodes.

This first one, Louie vs. the copier, might be my favorite. It’s funny, relatable, and capped off perfectly by Katelyn’s delivery at the end. This reel has over 13k views on Instagram.
