GVSU Alumni Owned Businesses
Social media video series spotlighting Laker-owned businesses to promote our Bar & Restaurant Guide. I conceptualized the project, coordinated with the business owners, directed the videos, helped set-up key shots, and oversaw the final edit.
Good Judy’s Market & Juice Bar
As a massive Wes Anderson fan, I was delighted when the this trend popped up on socials a few years ago, and I knew I had to bring a GVSU version to life. I wrote the script, directed and filmed shoot, and collaborated with my creative team for the final edit. This is one of my personal favorites.

Louie the Laker Intern
Remember the This is SportsCenter commercials? I tipped my hat to them with this fun social media series. I worked with a few teammates to create this series starring GVSU’s mascot, Louie, as our “summer intern." The goal: try something new, grow our audience, and add some humor to the feed. I wrote the scripts, directed the shoots, and edited the episodes.
Homecoming Group Chat Reel
To promote Homecoming 2026 at Grand Valley, I pitched the idea for this reel of a group chat between Louie and several GVSU leaders and groups. The idea originated with a teammate who saw this reel about the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, and thought we it’d be fun to play off the concept. I wrote the script and pitched it to our University Communications team who brought the idea to life with great animation.
